Two Roads Brewing Company hosted its Annual Shore 2 the Pour 3-mile Beach Race at Short Beach Park in Stratford on Aug. 26. Participants ran through the Audubon Center on the Two Roads Trail for about two miles, then continued for about a mile on Short Beach before finishing the race. Runners were treated to a post-race celebration where they enjoyed Two Roads brews, eats from a variety of food trucks and live music. A portion of the proceeds benefited Audubon Connecticut, which manages Stratford Point, a 22-acre natural site that is home to a wildlife sanctuary. The money raised will be used to improve the habitat at Stratford Point for wildlife and maintain the natural beauty of the site for visitors.
