Star Distributors welcomed Connecticut-based Urban Lodge Brewing Co. (ULBC) to its portfolio. Owners Michael Gerrity and Ryan Fagan first opened the brewery at Manchester’s Purnell Place in 2019 and four years later launched a second location on Hartford’s Pratt Street. Urban Lodge is an independent brewery that is a family-owned and -operated company, focusing on developing high-quality craft beer with an elevated customer experience. The team also supports multiple local conservation efforts through its Open Trail Initiative, launched in July 2021. A portion of proceeds from Open Trail are donated to the brewery’s nonprofit partners. These organizations work to protect the environment, defend public land access and inspire stewardship of our shared lands, waters and wildlife. ULBC beers include Maui IPA, Stowe Away NEIPA, Open Trail Pale Ale, Stop N Go Raspberry Sour and UConn Territory.
