
The United States Bartenders’ Guild (USBG) Hartford and New Haven chapters welcomed members to brand education sessions during the USBG’s National Education Week at The Coco Club at The Essex in Centerbrook. The first event on October 8 highlighted Roca Patrón. Chrissy Amatrudo, Trade Development Manager, Connecticut Distributors, Inc. (CDI), led guests through a tasting of the ultra-premium tequila line from Patrón Spirits: Roca Patrón Añejo, Roca Patrón Reposado and Roca Patrón Silver. During a second event on October 10, Robert Colopy, New England Market Manager, González Byass, led guests through an education and tasting of Tio Pepe Sherry and González Byass Sherry. González Byass, located in Jerez, Spain, is known worldwide for its fine sherries.
- USBG guests were hosted for an education session at The Coco Club at The Essex on October 8. Roca Patrón tequila is made with 100% Weber blue agave at the Hacienda Patrón distillery in Jalisco, Mexico. The Roca line offers artisanal, handcrafted, ultra-premium tequila, produced in small batches and with a two-ton volcanic-stone tahona wheel to crush the agave.
