
The United States Bartenders’ Guild Connecticut (USBG CT) chapter, along with Allan S. Goodman and Eder Bros., hosted the sixth, seventh and eighth bouts of its 10 series “Civil War” bartending competition. The sixth competition was held at Olives & Oil in New Haven on June 26 and featured Waypoint Spirits’ Spicy XIII Vodka and Dorian Dorsey won first place. 0n July 10, the seventh competition was held in Hartford at Little River Restoratives. Competitors were tasked with making an original cocktail featuring Speyburn Single Malt Whiskey. Adam Patrick won first place, Khalid Williams won second place and Jeffrey Hodson won third place. The eighth competition was held at Hub & Spoke in Bridgeport on July 24 and featured Tin Cup American Whiskey. USBG CT President Adam Patrick took first place.
