Annual Tasting Raises Funds in Stratford

The annual Wine & Beer Tasting to benefit local charity the Bridgeport Caribe Youth Leaders was hosted at Vazzano’s Four Seasons in Stratford on Nov. 10. Spearheaded by Larry LaConte and John Vazzano, Co-owners of Vazzano’s Four Seasons and Brookside Package Store in Bridgeport, the event featured beer, wine, spirits and ready-to-drink offerings poured by brand representatives and volunteers. Wholesalers included Brescome Barton; Eder Bros., Inc.; Hartley & Parker Limited, Inc. – Martignetti Companies; and Opici Family Distributing. Proceeds from the event benefited the Bridgeport Caribe Youth Leaders, a youth development organization that has served more than 10,000 children and teens since its inception in 2003 by providing high school and college scholarships, education and resources to youth and families.
