
Retailers and venues across the state continued to receive Piu Facile Imports’ latest wine from Spain, Bodegas D4. Produced in the protected geographical indication of Vino de la Tierra de Castilla, Bodegas D4 is a small winery located in El Picazo in the heart of the Cuenca Manchuela. New to Connecticut are Bisiuso Verdejo and Macabeo White Blend, Monociclo Tempranillo and Petit Verdot Red Blend, and decuatro Tempranillo, Bobal, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Sauvignon Red Blend. Aged in French oak barrels for three years, the 2016 vintage of Bodegas D4 Monociclo Tempranillo and Petit Verdot Red Blend is a bright cherry-colored red with hints of ripe fruit, caramel, coffee and vanilla on the nose and a fruity and creamy caramel taste.
