The Ocean House in Watch Hill unveiled its latest outdoor-dining experience for guests, the Fondue Village, sponsored by Veuve Clicquot. In its third year, the Fondue Village offers luxurious private dining in restored, vintage ski gondolas, each decorated with alpine accents reminiscent of a ski vacation in the Swiss Alps. The gondolas seat small parties for a four-course lunch and dinner menu with alpine-influenced fare, along with vintage selections of Veuve Clicquot champagnes. Guests enjoyed a fall harvest menu Oct. 2 through late November. A winter après-ski menu will be offered through March 31, 2021. A portion of the proceeds from the Fondue Village will benefit the Ocean House Fund for Charitable Giving, a nonprofit organization dedicated to philanthropic efforts to support children, foodways and those in need in New England. The Veuve Clicquot Fondue Village began hosting guests in October and runs through the end of March.
