By April 2, 2024Connecticut, Top News

Strade di Puglia Puglia Rosso IGT 2022, Valleé des Pins Côteaux d’Aix en Provence Rosé 2023, Endless Weekend Pays d’Oc Rosé 2023 and Le Versant “Limited Edition” Grenache Rosé 2022, new to Connecticut via Votto Vines.

Hamden-based Votto Vines welcomed Strade di Puglia Puglia Rosso IGT 2022 to its import and distribution portfolio. A blend of Sangiovese, Merlot and Primitivo from a winery that has received Equalitas certification for its sustainable practices, as well as the award for Sustainable Viniviticulture from Gambero Rosso, this deep ruby red wine with violet reflections is intense and wide on the nose. With red fruit notes, it’s a fresh and balanced full-bodied wine. Three new vintages from Les Vignobles Foncalieu are also newly available in Connecticut. Produced by Les Vignobles Foncalieu, one of the most successful wine cooperatives in France, the winery is spearheaded by female Winemaker and Winery Director Nathalie Estribeau, recently named to Drinks magazine’s Top 100 Winemakers in the World. Three rosés are Valleé des Pins Côteaux d’Aix en Provence Rosé 2023, Endless Weekend Pays d’Oc Rosé 2023 and Le Versant “Limited Edition” Grenache Rosé 2022.
