
Bartenders faced off during a West End Cocktail Competition hosted by Brescome Barton at Hartford’s The Half Door on November 12. Nine local mixologists created cocktails featuring Jameson Black Barrel and Wild Moon Liqueurs. Guests enjoyed the showcased spirits via specialty craft cocktails featuring Jameson Black Barrel and Wild Moon throughout the evening as they cheered on competitors. Event proceeds benefited the Movember Foundation, a charity dedicated to tackling the biggest health issues facing men.
- Jameson Black Barrel Triple Distilled Irish Whiskey was among the featured spirits during Brescome Barton’s West End Cocktail Competition.
- Selections from the Hartford Flavor Company’s Wild Moon Liqueurs line were also showcased ingredients in competitors’ cocktails.

- Competition winner Corinne Ferrante’s cocktail, “Diversity,” a nod to the character Ron Burgundy from “Anchorman,” was a blend of Jameson Barrel Aged, Wild Moon Cucumber Liqueur, lemon juice, Angostura bitters, shaken with fresh mint leaves, double-strained over a directionally frozen cucumber ribbon and finished with a mint sprig ice cube.

- Eric Sepulveda’s cocktail, a blend of Jameson black barrel, chai wild moon, coconut pieces tea simple syrup, vanilla bean and egg white.
