Charles Smith, a Wine Enthusiast 2014 “Winemaker of the Year,” visited New Haven, Connecticut in February to offer guests an opportunity to sample from his portfolio. The event was held at Ordinary, which provided hors d’oeuvres to pair with Smith’s wines. Smith crafts his wines in Washington State, sourced from vineyards in the Columbia Valley AVA, Wahluke Slope AVA, Walla Walla Valley AVA, Snipes Mountain AVA and Yakima Valley AVA.
