Allan S. Goodman, in collaboration with Brown-Forman, welcomed Woodford Reserve Head Master Distiller Chris Morris to Connecticut with a visit to J. Timothy’s Taverne in Plainville on July 22. During the opening reception, guests were greeted with Old-Fashioned cocktails featuring Woodford Reserve Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey and given the chance to meet and have bottles signed by Morris. A five-course dinner paired tastes from rare bottles of Woodford Reserve, including Master’s Collection Brandy Cask Finish, Cherry Wood Smoked Barley and Oat Grain Bourbon expressions. Morris is just the second Master Distiller at the Woodford Reserve Distillery in Versailles, Kentucky, and is credited with the creation of Woodford Reserve Double Oaked, Rye and Master’s Collection expressions.
