
Walter Easterbrook, Woodford Ambassador, led a whiskey and food pairing dinner featuring Woodford Reserve Distillery brands on February 2, at Trumbull Kitchen in Hartford. Max Restaurant Group and Trumbull Kitchen staff were trained on the menu and five showcased spirits, each paired with flavors from a tasting wheel. The expressions included Woodford Reserve Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey, Woodford Reserve Kentucky Straight Bourbon, Woodford Reserve Double Oaked, Old Forester Statesman Kentucky Straight Bourbon, Woodford Reserve Master’s Collection Bourbon. Guests enjoyed a similar education session led by Easterbrook alongside the dinner, which paired the various expressions of the Woodford and Old Forester Brands with Chef Chris Torla’s menu.
