Woodwork, one of the Diageo Chateau & Estate wine brands recently purchased by Treasury, has introduced three new 2013 varietal wines. The Merlot, Red Blend and Zinfandel are made using high-quality oak staves (rather than barrels) to bring the influence of oak into each varietal’s taste profile, providing robust flavor while having low impact on the environment. The Red Blend combines 62% Merlot, 17% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Cabernet Franc, 4% Malbec and 11% other grapes.
