The Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of Connecticut (WSWC) presented its annual “Wines of the World” event at the State Capitol in Hartford on May 7. Every year, the event brings together legislators, lobbyists and state capitol staff with beverage industry professionals for an evening of wine, food and mingling as the session winds down. WSWC members, including Allan S. Goodman, Connecticut Distributors, Inc. (CDI), Eder Bros. Inc., Hartley & Parker, Ltd., Opici Family Distributing, Winebow and Slocum & Sons, poured domestic and imported wines from California, Italy and France, among a variety of countries and regions.
