Trade Turns Out for Memorial Golf Tournament

Now in its fourth year, the Al Zannella Memorial Golf Tournament was hosted by the Zannella family at the Potowomut Golf Club in East Greenwich on July 22. Held in memory of Al “Z” Zannella, former Executive Vice President of Mancini Beverage who passed away in 2020, trade guests, family and friends enjoyed an afternoon of golf followed by a cocktail hour and dinner in the club’s Main Ballroom and Members’ Grill in what has become an annual celebration of Zannella’s legacy and impact in the business and on the community. Guests enjoyed cocktails featuring Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Don Julio Añejo Tequila, Mr. Black Coffee Liqueur, Surfside Iced Tea + Vodka, Surfside Lemonade + Vodka and Links Drinks Transfusion. Sponsored by Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Diageo, Mancini Beverage, Martignetti Companies, Geaber’s Liquors, Pernod Ricard Código Tequila, Rémy Martin and Cointreau, White Claw and Kingstown Liquor Mart, event proceeds benefit the RI Hospitality Education Foundation’s Zannella Memorial Scholarship, awarded to Rhode Islanders pursuing education toward a career in the food-service, lodging or tourism industries.
